Blown It
I'm building a '69 Corvette for my son. I've decided to go full-tilt blown street machine and I want to do a good deal of detail, starting with the engine

Colors and Details
The kits as they come are pretty basic, but there are lots of tricks a modeler can use to improve them. One thing is to paint lots of details. Another is to add missing details, like plug wires, hoses, etc.

Aftermarket
This engine is obviously not factory stock. A blower, dual carbs, and Moroso valve cover are just a few of the giveaways

That's My Boy

First Model
My son did this snap fit, albeit somewhat impatiently, as his first foray into models.

More Obvious
A brighter color, a few stripes, a little bulge in the hood... the Z/28 is not very subtle

Z/28
You have to love the stance and cocky strut of the 1969 Z
